Ampang Yong Tau Foo

There’s quite a lot of amazing food to be found in the North if you bother to look for it. Along Upper Thomson Road towards Sembawang is a stretch of coffee shops that serve Ampang Yong Tau Foo. it basically means a certain style of stuffed tofu that hails from the Ampang region of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. it’s not just tofu though, it also has fishballs, fish variety meats, tofu of every kind, and vegetables served in the famous Ampang styled sauce. I love it.

of all the stalls in that row, we ate from the 2nd shop from the left and it’s pretty good!

bee hoon to go with my tofu.
